The Republicans are playing fast and loose with the deficit, threatening to shut down our government unless the Democrats cave and begin to gut Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, all the programs that were designed to help people, while at the same time they are calling for protection of the rich by insisting there can be no increase in revenue of any kind, no matter what form it might come in. I’ll be kind, and family friendly by calling their actions disingenuous as opposed to the term I might normally apply, which is that they are lying through their teeth.

I’m sure you remember the man that turned Iran into a theocracy if not, that's him on the left. Though rare, it is possible for a woman to be an Ayatollah. In Iran, Madam Zohreh Sefati is a female Ayatollah. She and Bachmann would likely get along wonderfully.
